Privacy notice

Last updated: 15 October 2026.

Who this notice covers

This notice covers people who visit the Warlite Security website or contact Warlite about security services. Warlite Security Limited is responsible for the personal information described in this notice. It does not replace separate notices for employees, job applicants or information collected while delivering a security contract.

For privacy enquiries, contact sales@warlitesecurity.co.uk or call 0800 783 4475. You can also write to Warlite Security Limited, 1-3 Shenley Avenue, Ruislip, HA4 6BP, United Kingdom.

Information you give us

When you make an enquiry, you may provide your name, email address, telephone number, business or premises details, and the information in your message. The enquiry form requests first name, last name, email and a message; a telephone number is optional.

Please do not send alarm codes, passwords, detailed access instructions or sensitive personal information through the general enquiry form. We can discuss an appropriate way to share any information needed for a contract.

How we use information

We use enquiry details to respond, understand the cover you need, discuss a quote and keep a record of the discussion. Technical information may also be processed to operate and protect the website, prevent spam and investigate faults.

For business enquiries made on behalf of an organisation, we rely on our legitimate interests in answering requests, preparing quotations and managing the resulting business relationship. Where an individual asks us to take necessary steps before entering a contract with them personally, we rely on those pre-contract steps. For necessary website security processing, our legitimate interests are protecting the website and preventing abusive submissions. These purposes are separate from optional analytics and cookie choices.

Website and anti-spam services

The website uses WordPress and Forminator to handle enquiry forms. The enquiry form is configured to store submitted details in the website database and send an email notification to sales@warlitesecurity.co.uk. Forms use hCaptcha to help distinguish genuine visitors from automated submissions. This can involve technical browser and device information and interactions with the CAPTCHA service.

Google Analytics is connected through Site Kit. The website also includes Google Maps, WordPress.com/Jetpack resources and a Forminator font stylesheet served by Bunny Fonts.

Who may receive information

Enquiries are handled by authorised Warlite staff. Providers supporting website hosting, email delivery, maintenance and security may process information to provide those services. Our website is hosted by Easy Travel Hosting. The provider has confirmed that the website and its backups are stored in the United Kingdom. It creates automatic daily backups and retains them for 30 days. Its hosting terms include a Data Processing Agreement in Section 24. Email sent to our domain is received through Microsoft 365. The website uses a separate SMTP service to send form notifications.

International processing

External service providers can process information outside the United Kingdom. Microsoft publishes its Products and Services Data Protection Addendum, which describes its data processing terms. Google and hCaptcha also publish information about their international processing: Google data transfer frameworks and hCaptcha data protection information.

How long information is kept

Our retention policy is to review enquiries and quotations that have not led to a contract 12 months after the last meaningful contact and delete personal information that is no longer needed. This is a manual review of enquiry records held on the website and in email. If discussions are still active, or records are needed for a complaint or a legal obligation, we keep the relevant information for that purpose and review it separately. Contract records follow the retention requirements that apply to the contract.

Your information rights

Depending on the circumstances, you can ask to access or correct your information, request deletion or restriction, object to certain processing, or ask for a portable copy. Where processing relies on consent, you can withdraw it. Some rights depend on the purpose and lawful basis and may have exceptions.

Contact Warlite using the details above to make a request or raise a concern. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).

Changes to this notice

We will update this notice when our use of personal information changes. The date above identifies the latest review.
